The Delta Chi Fraternity was founded on October 13, 1890. The American
Chapter was colonized in 1990 and chartered on December 4, 1992.
We are active participants in Greek Life yet also retain
strong contacts to the non-Greek community. Delta Chi is known on
campus as professionals and gentlemen, distinguished and scholarly, yet
know how to "work the room" upon our entrance. Delta Chi needs no
introduction. We are athletes. We are campus leaders, and
entrepreneurs. We are ol’ boys from the backwoods of Maryland and
cultured urbanites from the heart of Greenwich Village. We hail from
Westchester, West Virginia, the West Coast and Hawai’i. We debate Sartre while playing stump. We lounge in
kiddie pools while playing the markets. We speak English, Dutch,
French, Spanish, Korean, and sing the praises of Richard Armcock.
Delta Chi subscribes to a Quality Over Quantity
approach to recruitment and develop men of integrity and charisma whose
watchwords are Friendship, Character, Justice and Education.
